Juan Harris Is
First Team All-State

Parker High School senior Juan Harris was chosen as a first team defensive lineman on the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-State Football team. Harris was also a two-way first team selection as a lineman on the 2016 All Big '8' football team. The 6' 3, 360 pound Harris has not announced what college he will play for.

Team Awards

At a meeting on Tuesday, November 1, Parker Viking football players gathererd for their recognition and award night. Academic All State, Big 8 Conference, as well as team awards for Most Dedicated, Most Improved, Co-Captains, the Don Barnabo Defensive Award, and Most Valuable player were announced. 2016 All-Conference
Team Announced

The Viking's Juan Harris was selected to both the first team offensive and defensive team while Ed Jacobson and DJ Vance were first team picks. In addition Alonzo Velazquez, Anthony Vargas, and Frank Deaton were second team picks. Honorable Mention honors went to Zach Christianson, Brandon Leeder, Logan Murdy, Sandy Toyer, and Mylik Williams.

US Cellular Presents PHS With $1,000 Check

Because Coach Clayton Kreger is one of 15 finalists in the National US Cellular Most Valuable Coach contest Parker High School received a check for $1,000. The presentation was made at a press conference at Parker High School on Tuesday afternoon, November 1. Go to US Cellular Most Valuable Coach.

Vikings End Season With Win Against Regents

The Parker Viking Varsity ended the season with a 52-34 win against the Regents from Madison West. In a game which saw many momentum changes Parker exploded for 21 third quarter points before West mounted a rally in the fourth quarter. Parker responded with 10 points in the fourth quarter to seal their 4th win of the season. Go to West game.






Regent JV Team
Wins At Parker

The Parker Viking JV took an early lead against the Regents frrom Madison West. However the Regents used big plays to regain the lead. Madison West scored twice in the third quarter to take a 40-14 lead before the Viking team responded with two scores in the fourth quarter to make the final score West JV 40, Parker JV 29.

Madison's Channel 15 Feature On Unity

The Beloit Memorial at Janesville Parker football game demonstrated the power of positive participation by young athletes from both teams. Players Tyler Curtis-Dupuis from Beloit and Ed Jacobson from Parker were highlighted in the Channel 15 feature giving the background behind the Unity Formation at the Beloit-Parker game at Monterey Stadium on Friday, September 30.

Spartans Win Ninth
Grade Game At Parker

The Madison Memorial Spartan Ninth Grade Team came away with a 48-8 win at Parker in a Thursday afternoon game. Memorial raced to a 28-0 first quarter lead and extended that lead to 41-0 at the half. The Viking ninth graders will end their season next Thursday, October 13, at Madison West High School in a 4:00 PM game played next to West High School.

Vikings Win The Battle For The Monterey Rock

The Parker Vikings used a punishing ground game to beat Craig . The win also brought the Monterey Rock back to Parker for the first time since 2011. Channel 57 televised the game. Also a special presentation was made as the Press Box was renamed the Wedeward - Fagerli Press Box. Parker withstood a second half Craig rally before pulling away for the 34-14 win.

Varsity Reserve Game
At Janesville Craig

On a picture perfect weather day the Parker VR team traveled to city rival Craig for a Saturday morning game in the Craig Bowl. The Vikings won 14-12 on the strength of two touchdown runs by Seamus Murphy. After Murphy's 55 yard TD run in the 2nd quarter Craig scored on a 17 yard pass play. Murphy added a 6 yard run for a TD in the third quarter.
