All-Pro Camp Helps Lineman Improve Skills
Parker Viking lineman traveled to Madison for three nights of intense competition aimed at improving line play skills. Drills and 1-1 competition gave players a gauge by which they could judge their progress against other players from southern Wisconsin and the Madison area. Pride Camp Offers Pre-Season Football Skills
194 football campers took advantage of the Janesville Pride Camp to improve their football skills. In the morning session younger players practiced football skills while in the evening sessions incoming ninth, sophomore, junior, and senior athletes worked under the instruction of nineteen coaches. Players split time between offensive and defensive fundamental drills as well as competitive games. |

Four Parker Teams Play In Janesville Passing League
A large group of Parker freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors play in the Sunday Night Passing League at the Janesville Youth Football fields. Parents of the players are the coaches. Quarterbacks have the luxury of slow 'one-apple, two-apple, three-apple' counts which puts quite a bit of stress on the defensive secondaries. Scoring can be fast and furious in a passing league game, Go to passing league. |

Balancing Farm Life With School And Athletics
It has been a rare year since the late 1990's that a child from the James and Bernadette Pakes family has not been a student involved in an activity at Parker High School. The two youngest Pakes children, Matt and Mark, somehow make time for participating in activities at Parker despite a full schedule of farm tasks that they complete on the Pakes family farm.
