From 'Vikings' To 'Warhawks'

Parker grad Mathew McCulloch plays for UW-Whitewater against UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, October 25, 2008

2006 Parker graduate Mathew McCulloch [23] is a sophomore at UW-Whitewater. The Warhawks are pictured against UW-Stevens Point. The 'Pointers' scored a touchdown with 15 seconds in the game to pull within 16-15. Stevens Point then converted the 2-point conversion to win the game 17-16. Stevens Point and Whitewater are now tied for the WIAC lead with 6-1 records .

McCulloch who is a defensive back for the Warhawks played quarterback and free safety for the undefeated 2006 Parker Viking football team. McCulloch played in the 2007 Wisconsin All-Star football game. McCulloch is pictured on the left and above during the third quarter of the Stevens Point game.

Prior to the UW-Stevens Point game the Warhawks had been undefeated and ranked #2 in the national D3 rankings.

During pre-game fun at Perkins Stadium the Klement Racing Team was matched up in a race against UW-Whitewater mascot 'Willy Warhawk.' Willy displayed amazing quickness and won the race in the last 8 yards.
