Wildcat Field Goal Creates Four Way Tie For First

Trevor Boyle [above, 70] picked up a Verona fumble at the Wildcat 49 yardline and sprinted into the endzone at the 8:00 mark of the third quarter to make the score Verona 14, Parker 13. Charles Palan's kick tied the score at 14 all. Jeff Henke [65] looks for someone to block as Boyle heads for the score.


Cameron Bathe [left, 15] kicked a game winning field goal with 5 seconds left in the game to create a four way tie for first place. Madison Memorial, Middleton, Parker and Verona now all have 3-1 records in conference play. Verona held a 14-7 lead in the third quarter before the Viking defense forced a fumble which Boyle returned for a score.


Joe Allen [82] is pictured below drawing a crowd as he fights for yardage. Allen gained 57 yards on 10 carries and scored on a five yard run which made the score Verona 14, Parker 7 at the 5:04 mark of the second quarter.
