Vikings Outlast Purple Knights

Parker 22, Beloit 19 at Beloit's Jacobson Field, Friday, September 3, 2010

Adam Vesterfelt scored on a three yard run with 1:53 to go in the game to give Parker the lead. The Viking defense then held off a late Beloit drive to preserve the win and improve the team record to 1-1 in Big '8' Conference play. Beloit's Matt Zibert [9] stopped a third quarter Parker drive with an interception. Right: Beloit QB Jeff Hollenbach scored on a 45 yard run at the 3:54 mark of the second quarter. However seconds later Erik Albeck [right, #3] returned the kickoff 92 yards for a touchdown. Cullin Simonson's [below, 59] 'PAT' gave Parker a 14-13 halftime lead.
