The visiting Spartans from Madison Memorial scored once in each quarter to defeat the Vikings 24-14. At the 5:35 mark of the first quarter Madison Memorial took advantage of a Parker turnover by executing a double pass play on a 1st and 10 from the Viking 24. The extra point was blocked leaving the first quarter score 6-0.

Memorial scored on another TD pass on a 4th and 2 from the Viking 12 yard line with 6:22 left in the first half. The PAT try for 2 points was intercepted. In the second quarter a holding penalty called back a Parker TD pass. Memorial held a 12-0 halftime lead.

In the third quarter Memorial scored on a short drive after a Parker turnover deep in their own territory. DJ Vance scored on a 6 yard run with 38 seconds left in the 3rd quarter as the Vikings closed to 18-6 with one quarter left.

Midway through the last quarter the Spartans scored again on a 20 yard pass to increase their lead to 24-6. With 2:01 left in the game Vance scored again on a 1 yard run. The 2 point try pass from Jordan Bailey to Mike Kettle was successful making the final score 24-14.

The Parker band above at halftime and a few of their members below. Band Director John Biester had a busy week. After Parker's game against Beloit last Friday he had a short night as he left for Ann Arbor, Michigan at 3:30 AM on Saturday morning to be at the Badger game against Michigan. Biester is the Badger Band Announcer. The Badger band performed at the Michigan game last Saturday.
