2007 Wisconsin High School All-Star Game


On Saturday, July 21, Parker's Matt McCulloch [#5] and Taylor Edwards played on the winning South team at J.J Keller Field at Titan Stadium at UW-Oshkosh.

Armer Signs With Broncos

Parker senior Ben Armer [6' 1, 205] signed a national letter of intent to play at Western Michigan University a Division I school located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Armer who was voted Big 8 Outside Linebacker of the Year averaged over 39 yards per punt and was second team All-State Punter. Western Michigan signed Armer as a punter.

Vikings Plan To Become Warhawks

Parker seniors Matt McCulloch, Taylor Edwards, Kyle Ahrens and Jim Slatter announced that they will attend UW-Whitewater a Division III school to play football under new Coach Lance Leipold.

McCulloch [6' 2, 205] was a 2006 Associated Press all-state first team defensive back and hopes to play in the secondary for the Warhawks. For Parker, McCulloch played quarterback, free safety and returned kickoffs and punts. McCulloch will play for the South All-Star team this summer.

Taylor Edwards set a city rushing record by running for 2383 yards on 269 carries. Edwards [6' 1, 185] scored 34 touchdowns during the 2006 season setting a city record of 6 touchdowns and 324 yards rushing in the game against Madison West. Edwards will play of rthe South All-Star team this summer.

Kyle Ahrens [6' 2, 265] was a Big '8' all-conference honorable mention offensive lineman while Jim Slatter [ 6' 4, 290] was a Big '8' all-conference honorable mention defensive tackle.




PARKER TOPS MIDDLETON TO WIN BIG 8

Parker won the undisputed Big 8 Championship by beating Middleton 19-0 at Middleton on October 18th, 2006. Playing on a rain soaked field Parker scored three second half touchdows to finish the regular season undefeated. Seniors [Above L-R] James Slatter, Taylor Edwards and Matt McCulloch are pictured after the Middleton game. They were among three of the 24 seniors who played their last conference game for Parker. Parker students have the opportunity to work out on M-W-F in the weight room

Seniors and other players from the ninth, sophomore and varsity teams were recognized at the end of the year awards meeting held in the Parker auditorium on Sunday night, November 19.
